In the western Area of Buenos Aires, you can also find insteresting places to visit. This area is divided into 9 districts which you would be able to appreciate on the following map. Have you ever heard about these places? I will give you some important information about them.
The western Area of Buenos Aires has got 3 very important things: green areas, comercial places and residential neighbourhoods. Eventhough these are the main characteristics, each district highlights in different aspects.
- Marcos Paz is a great place to relax since it is full of fields and farms. It is extremely quiet and sometimes, private parties of electronic music are held on the country houses, where important Djs play during the hole night.
- General Rodriguez is a recent green living place district, many contry houses are being built which makes the neighbourhood quite new and ideal for staying for years. You have a lot means of transportation and all the services to live there.
- Moreno, Merlo and Morón are comercial areas. You will find a lot of malls, shops, shopping centres and important markets to visit such as Plaza Oeste Shopping and Nine.
- La matanza is a great combination of living, shopping and resting. In Ramos Mejia, for example, you will find a lot of restaurants and discos over Gaona Avenue. Also over Rivadavia Street you can do dancing to an important huge disco called Pinar de Rocha and many other pubs. It is ideal to go out at night! This district also has got an important University and a long shopping place over Arieta street. Residential neighbourhoods and quiet green areas are located here. Some places can be extremelly dangerous too, so you have to be extremely careful when choosing where you go.
- Hurlingham and Ituzaingo are probably the favourite places to live within the western part of Buenos Aires because of its resitendial houses, its big amount of trees and Shops.
- Tres de Febrero is also a quiet area, maybe it is not that expensive as another residential places.
